This Is The Place - A Collaborative Artwork Event

Join us for a free festive, social, and creative event (ages 18+) at The Village Hall, The Great Northern. Come together to create a collaborative artwork that will be auctioned to raise funds for Forever Manchester Charity, in partnership with Mandem Meetup & Manchester Photography Collective.

About the event
Join us for a festive celebration (including mince pies and refreshments) and contribute to the creation of a collaborative community artwork. This piece will feature the iconic Manchester saying, "This Is The Place," made up of local photographs of Manchester's most beloved landmarks, all captured by Mandem Meetup members.
I will be offering hands on & one-to-one demonstrations every step of the way, to ensure you feel happy & confident to continue hand embroidering beyond the workshop.
We will be aiming to complete the design during the session, however, embroidery is a great way to relax & unwind, so it is more important for you to take your time and enjoy.
As a thank you, all participants will be gifted with a print of the finished piece.
