About the event
Join us at Riverside Cafe at The Garden House, Marple for a fun and inclusive in-person event designed for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Forage for natural treasures and have the opportunity to create art with your finds. Classes are centred on finding enjoyment from nature and creating artwork, whilst developing skills, building confidence and connecting with the community.
This create and explore workshop will offer the opportunity to create art through:
- Flower pressing
- Leaf printing
- Leaf pounding
- Painting & colouring
Participants will be given the opportunity for their creations to be used within the "Vision of Stockport" community led artwork, a project celebrating the history, regeneration and natural beauty of Stockport.
Please note this session is suitable for age 7+ (parent and carer attendance is suggested).Â
This is a partly outdoor event, please wear appropriate footwear and clothes, we also have an indoor space available so this event can take place should we experience poor weather conditions.
